The “GOV2EU” project is a project funded by the European Commission to uptake e-invoice.

The European eInvoicing project called “GOV2EU” has been approved and granted by the European Commission through the CEF eInvoicing 2016 call (CEF-TC-2016-3). Moreover, “SUCH – Serviço de Utilização Comum dos Hospitais” is participating in this Project.

The main aim of the project is to support the EDI providers to meet the European Standard (EN) on electronic invoicing for cross-border transactions according to the Directive 2014/55/EU. In particular, this project will allow all the European companies to be able to send and receive electronic invoices, in the Health Sector, compliant with the EN. In this sense, all participants will prepare, individually, their current eInvoicing solutions to the EN in order to adapt their platforms according to the AS4 e-SENS profile, expanding transnational document exchange among their immense number of European customers as well as promoting the PEPPOL network (eDelivery) and interoperating in the different European NHS.

The project’s consortium is composed by 21 participants; including consolidated eInvoicing providers (that at the same time are certified PEPPOL Access Points), and various use cases both local and regional public administrations and private entities. It is an international and multilingual consortium involving 7 different Member States (Belgium, France, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Slovakia and Spain). All the members have demonstrate a significant geographic representation of the European community and represent a wide range of different types of organizations, according to the scope of the call. Therefore, it will enable a wider approach and an increased vision of the project.

In summary, this action will contribute both to the development of the eInvoicing and the eDelivery Building Blocks, and the dissemination and exploitation of the project’s results among their European clients.
